Kenston scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Riverside Beavers by a score of 12-11. The Bombers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Beavers earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Jack Latz and Joey Artale did some serious damage despite the final result: Latz went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI, while Artale scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those RBI marked the first that Latz brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Graysen Bischof, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Kenston dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Riverside, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Coming up, Kenston will challenge Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Green Wave have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to square off against Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
