Basketball Recap: Wise Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wise had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They secured a 64-58 W over the Severn School Admirals.

Wise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dion Walker, who went 9 of 13 on his way to 25 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Hargrove, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds.

Wise's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Severn School, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Wise will be taking part in a tournament against Atholton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wise's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Severn School and Curtis will round out the year against one another at at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
