Ryan Trader posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
