Gooding had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 13-9 to make it four. They came up short against the Kimberly Bulldogs, falling 8-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

At the plate, Hope Ward was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Cann, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
