Volleyball Recap: Paxton Wins Going Away Against Kimball

Paxton won the last time they faced Kimball and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-12.

Paxton's offense was headlined by Addison Holm and Jakcee Mitchell, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Hadleigh Kramer and her 24 assists. Mitchell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Hannah Kilgore, who had 12 digs and three assists. Kilgore is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.

Paxton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Kimball, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Paxton has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Hitchcock County on the 16th. As for Kimball, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Haxtun on the 16th.
