Basketball Recap: The Fletcher School Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, The Fletcher School was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 45-20 to the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Leia Garrett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. Garrett is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Amend, who posted three points in addition to 15 boards and three steals.

The Fletcher School's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

The Fletcher School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lee Park Prep at 7:00 p.m. Lee Park Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.
