Basketball Game Preview: Springdale Prep Lions vs. Peddie Falcons

Having just played yesterday, the Springdale Prep Lions will jump right back in to play the Peddie Falcons at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. Springdale Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Peddie likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Springdale Prep faced off against Kiski School on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 69-61.

Meanwhile, Peddie had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past Friends' Central to the tune of 77-45. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with Friends' Central: they've now won three in a row.

Springdale Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Peddie, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Springdale Prep's way against Peddie in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Springdale Prep made off with a 75-54 win. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
