It's playoff time, and Shelby had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the East Gaston Warriors 1-0 on Thursday. The win was just business as usual for Shelby, who after 23 games remain undefeated this season.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alyvia Berkowitz, who's now up to 37 this season.

Shelby pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 62 goals over those 13 matches. As for East Gaston, they moved to 11-7-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Shelby will be playing at home against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shelby surely won't give up without a fight. East Gaston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
