It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paoli can now relate to. They were beaten by the Brownstown Central Braves 63-21 on Friday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Paoli lost, don't look at Dane Padgett. Despite the final result, he rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Padgett really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

It was another big night for Preston Garrison, who rushed for 209 yards on only eight carries for Brownstown Central. Those 209 rushing yards gave Garrison a new career-high.

Paoli's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Brownstown Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Paoli does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brownstown Central, they will welcome Switzerland County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will need to watch out since the Pacers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
