Soccer Recap: Fort Campbell Comes Up Short at Home Against Hopkinsville

Fort Campbell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-3 to the Hopkinsville Tigers on Tuesday. The matchup was a close 3-2 at the break, but unfortunately for Fort Campbell it sure didn't stay that way.

CARLOS Hermosillo and MIGUEL ORANDAY scored all three of Fort Campbell's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Hopkinsville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1.

Coming up, Fort Campbell will square off against Heritage Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hopkinsville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lyon County at 6:00 p.m.
