Soccer Recap: Denver Christian Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Denver Christian can now relate to. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Flatirons Academy Bison who were credited with the win on Wednesday. The Flatirons Academy Bison got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Denver Christian Thunder's six. Denver Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Flatirons Academy earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Denver Christian's goal came courtesy of Marin Delp, who's now up to two this season.

Denver Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Flatirons Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-2.

Denver Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flatirons Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Crested Butte on the 17th.
