University Christian extends home winning streak to four

The University Christian Christians won against the Tocoi Creek Toros last Wednesday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. University Christian came out on top against Tocoi Creek by a score of 65-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

BRYANT BOYKIN continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was JUSTIN GIST, who scored 12 points.

University Christian pushed their record up to 5-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Tocoi Creek, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

University Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Matanzas at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th. Matanzas has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 224 points over their last three matchups. As for Tocoi Creek, they will be playing at home against Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Episcopal School of Jacksonville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tocoi Creek in Florida (Episcopal School of Jacksonville is ranked 39th, while Tocoi Creek is ranked 259th).
