Basketball Recap: Benjamin Davis Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Benjamin Davis, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 50-38 win over the Dekaney Wildcats on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-47 loss.

Despite the loss, Dekaney still got an impressive performance from Maya Shotwell, who posted 23 points.

Benjamin Davis' victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16. As for Dekaney, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which is still a better percentage than their 5-16 record this season.

Benjamin Davis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-46 defeat against Nimitz on the 25th. As for Dekaney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 36-31 win against Eisenhower on the 25th.
