Soccer Game Preview: Kane vs. St. Marys

Kane hasn't had much luck against St. Marys recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Wolves will face off against the Flying Dutch at 11:00 a.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kane will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Port Allegany, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Wolves put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 5-2 win on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kane.

Their offense was hitting Port Allegany from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, St. Marys' game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brockway, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that St. Marys have won by just one goal.

Kane's record is now 6-7. As for St. Marys, their record now sits at 8-2.

Kane couldn't quite get it done against St. Marys in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
