Football Recap: Bishop Shanahan Takes a Loss

Bishop Shanahan entered their matchup against Downingtown West on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell 33-21 to the Whippets. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Whippets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bishop Shanahan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Downingtown West, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop Shanahan is set to challenge their familiar foe Downingtown East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Downingtown West will square off against rival Coatesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
