Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Christian Sabres vs. Mentor Christian

First Baptist Christian was the 3-1 winner over Mentor Christian when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabres fell just short of Mentor Christian by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

First Baptist Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (106-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Kate Burman paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up 22 kills. Burman got some help from Joanna Wacker and her 38 assists. Brynn White controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
