Basketball Recap: Greer Drops Highest Score of Season Against James F. Byrnes + How To Watch

Greer scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 91-79 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James F. Byrnes Rebels. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost four in a row.

Greer lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ricky Hood III, who posted 33 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 17 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jyssiah Foster, who earned 25 points.

Colt Fowler had an outrageously good game for James F. Byrnes as he dropped a double-double with 33 points and 14 assists. The game was Fowler's fifth in a row with at least 18 points. Fabian McClintock was another key player, going 7-for-9 to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds.
