Buckeye has gone 8-1 against Normandy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bucks will head out on the road to take on the Invaders at 5:00 p.m. The last three games Buckeye has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Buckeye fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Waynedale on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 5-4. The Bucks' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to Hoover.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Normandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Buckeye couldn't quite finish off Normandy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Bucks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
