Basketball Recap: Parowan Comes Up Short

Parowan lost against Beaver back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams took a blow against the Beavers, falling 61-17. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Beavers are ranked second).

Parowan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Beaver, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Parowan is set to take on their familiar foe San Juan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaver will square off against rival South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
