Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gaffney). They blew past the Eastside Eagles 82-39 on Tuesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Eagles are ranked 145th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Gaffney, bringing their record for this year to 19-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Eastside, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Gaffney has already played their next matchup (against James F. Byrnes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastside and Spartanburg will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
