Softball Recap: Clearview Takes a Loss

The matchup between Clearview and Sandusky on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Clippers came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 17-4.

Clearview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Ocasio, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Ocasio is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Amor' Ruiz also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sandusky, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearview will welcome Open Door Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sandusky, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Margaretta at 4:45 p.m.
