West Point is a perfect 6-0 against Charles City since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pointers are taking a road trip to challenge the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Point will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Thomas Jefferson on Monday. The Pointers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 20-3 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Pointers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Charles City took on Armstrong on Saturday. The Panthers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory.

The win got West Point back to even at 6-6. As for Charles City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

West Point skirted past Charles City 1-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pointers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
