Recap: Desert Mirage RAMS vs. Yucca Valley Trojans
The Desert Mirage RAMS lost against the Yucca Valley Trojans back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Desert Mirage took a serious blow against Yucca Valley, falling 43-3. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Desert Mirage in their matchups with Yucca Valley: they've now lost eight in a row.
Arturo Alvarado threw for 52 yards on six of nine attempts. On the ground, Jesus Morin rushed for 50 yards.
Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Yucca Valley, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Mirage will take on Banning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Banning comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Yucca Valley, they will be playing at home against Twentynine Palms at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Twentynine Palms is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
