Basketball Recap: Rocky Bayou Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Rocky Bayou Christian can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Community Christian Chargers 65-40. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 51.5 points per game.

Rocky Bayou Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harrison Sanders, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Sanders' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trand M Scott, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Rocky Bayou Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Community Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Bayou Christian will welcome Pensacola Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Community Christian, they will host Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
