Volleyball Recap: Henderson Collegiate Comes Up Short

Henderson Collegiate lost against Falls Lake back in January of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pride came up short against the Firebirds, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-3, 25-3.

Tess DeZurik had a dynamite game For Falls Lake., getting 13 aces and four digs. Those 13 aces gave DeZurik a new career-high. Addison Buffaloe was another key player, getting seven aces and six assists.

Henderson Collegiate dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Falls Lake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Henderson Collegiate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against The Burlington School on the 27th. As for Falls Lake, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Panther Creek on the 22nd.
