Baseball Preview: Horizon Huskies vs. Notre Dame Prep Saints

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies and snuck past 2-1.

Notre Dame Prep also got a great performance from Chase Wagner as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Wagner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Jace Terry was excellent, going 1-for-4 with a home run. Another player making a difference was Isaac Llenas, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
