Basketball Recap: Sierra Linda Takes a Loss

Sierra Linda was the 60-48 winner over Washington when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Sierra Linda Bulldogs fell just short of the Washington Rams by a score of 37-34 on Friday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Washington can attribute much of their success to AnyaLisa Carino, who posted 18 points.

Sierra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Linda will take on La Joya Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra Linda is facing La Joya Community at the right time seeing as La Joya Community is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Washington, they will face off against Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
