Baseball Recap: Umatilla Comes Up Short

Umatilla fell victim to Enterprise/Joseph and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Savages. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Umatilla saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rj Estrada, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Estrada has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-4 otherwise.

Umatilla has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Enterprise/Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
