Softball Recap: Western Christian Takes a Loss

St. Paul hit Western Christian with a six-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pioneers lost 10-0 to the Buckaroos. The Pioneers have struggled against the Buckaroos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Western Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for St. Paul, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Western Christian will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Gaston at 1:00 p.m. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul, they will head out to square off against Perrydale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
