Softball Recap: Triway Titans vs. Northwest Indians
In what's become a running theme this season, Triway gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past the Northwest Indians 12-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Triway.
Carter Wachtel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Wachtel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Wachtel was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a triple and a run.
