Baseball Recap: Norco Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Norco's offense. They fell just short of the St. John Bosco Braves by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.

Norco got a good showing from Landon Hovermale, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Hovermale has allowed since back in April of 2024.

Norco's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. John Bosco, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Norco Cougars take on Corona Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Norco has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. John Bosco, they will take on Liberty at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
