Basketball Game Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Benton Panthers

El Dorado hasn't had much luck against Benton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the El Dorado Wildcats duke it out with the Benton Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Benton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on El Dorado, who comes in off a win.

El Dorado is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Crossett with a sharp 72-49 win on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-25, which was the final score in Benton's tilt against Bryant on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Benton's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for El Dorado, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

El Dorado suffered a grim 47-25 defeat to Benton in their previous matchup back in January. Can El Dorado avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
