Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Country Day School Comes Up Short

The Buccaneers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs on Saturday. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Charlotte Country Day School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Sanaa Mohammed paced Charlotte Country Day School's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mohammed got some help from Lauren Beach and her 34 assists. Beach was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
