Football Game Preview: Philip Scotties vs. Estelline/Hendricks

The Philip Scotties will be playing in front of their home fans against Estelline/Hendricks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Philip knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Estelline/Hendricks likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Philip humbled New Underwood with a 45-8 victory. The Scotties haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Estelline/Hendricks' offense. They were dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of DeSmet on Friday. Estelline/Hendricks has struggled against DeSmet recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Philip's record now sits at 6-1. As for Estelline/Hendricks, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Philip against Estelline/Hendricks in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, as the squad secured a 36-0 win. Will the Scotties repeat their success, or do Estelline/Hendricks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
