Baseball Recap: Joplin Comes Up Short

Joplin suffered their closest defeat since April 4th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Neosho Wildcats by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Joplin's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Neosho, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Coming up, Joplin will take on Springfield Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Neosho, they will challenge Republic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
