Baseball Recap: Greenon Takes a Loss

Greenon came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-4 to the Greeneview Rams. The Knights have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Grady Evans made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Greenon's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Greeneview, they moved to 8-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Greenon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
