Volleyball Recap: Newport Christian Takes a Loss

Newport Christian lost against San Gabriel Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seahawks lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Newport Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for San Gabriel Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3-2.

The future could be bright for both Newport Christian and San Gabriel Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Seahawks will try to hand Magnolia Science Academy their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Gabriel Academy will look to extend Puget Sound Adventist's three-game losing streak when they meet at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
