Union is 8-2 against Manti since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 9:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union has four straight victories, Manti has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, Union made easy work of Duchesne and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Manti came up short against Carbon last Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Manti started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Manti's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Union, their victory bumped their record up to 16-12.

Union was able to grind out a solid win over Manti in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
