Basketball Game Preview: Cardinal Stritch Cardinals vs. St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks

The Cardinal Stritch Cardinals will head out to challenge the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Cardinal Stritch can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Saturday. They fell just short of Danbury by a score of 36-33. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite their defeat, Cardinal Stritch saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Morgan Kennedy, who posted 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. Makayla (KK) Miltz was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Central Catholic came up short against Clyde on Saturday, falling 64-39.

Cardinal Stritch was taken down by St. Joseph Central Catholic 63-29 when the teams last played back in November of 2017. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
