Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Has No Trouble Against Lake Mary

Hagerty won the last time they faced Lake Mary and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Hagerty was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-21.

Isabella Cruz had a dynamite game, getting seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since September 3rd. Another player making a difference was Allyson Leach, who had 15 digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good servers: Hagerty was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Mary only served seven.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Parker Windisch, who had ten digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Cook, who had 14 assists and three digs.

Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Lake Mary, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Hagerty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Oviedo on the 2nd. As for Lake Mary, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lake Brantley on the 2nd.
