Basketball Recap: Lehigh Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Lehigh Christian Academy lost against Bethlehem Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs took a blow against the Bethlehem Christian Panthers, falling 86-46. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while the Panthers are ranked 220th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lehigh Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Bethlehem Christian, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehigh Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Executive Education Academy Charter School at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bethlehem Christian, they will face off against Quakertown Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bethlehem Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
