Volleyball Recap: Judge Memorial Catholic Takes a Loss

Judge Memorial Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Jordan Beetdiggers, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Beetdiggers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Judge Memorial Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Annabelle Fote and Olivia Lemaitre, who picked up five kills apiece. Fote really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Judge Memorial Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 12-13 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
