Softball Game Preview: Wright Tech Warriors vs. Platt Tech Panthers

The Wright Tech Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Platt Tech Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wright Tech has given up an average of 15.9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Wright Tech got the win against Whitney RVT by a conclusive 23-13. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Platt Tech made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hillhouse on Tuesday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Academics 11-10. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Wright Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Platt Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Everything went Wright Tech's way against Platt Tech when the teams last played on April 13th, as Wright Tech made off with a 24-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
