            Softball Recap: Dunedin Falcons vs. Northeast Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Dunedin fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Northeast  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Northeast Vikings by a score of  4-3. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.
  Maelaea Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aliyah Roseman, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Dunedin  fell to 5-1. As for Northeast, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Looking ahead, Dunedin will head out on the road to  take on  Osceola  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Osceola: 1.6, Dunedin: 2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Northeast, they will look to defend their home field  on March 12th against East Lake  at 7:00  p.m.
