 Cape Elizabeth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Yarmouth Clippers by a score of  7-2. This was payback for Cape Elizabeth, who suffered  a  4-2  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Jameson Bryant made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Bryant was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Cape Elizabeth got a big performance out of  Brady Inman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Andy Choi was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Cape Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Yarmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Wells the next time they take the field. Cape Elizabeth will head out to face Wells at 4:45  p.m.  on Thursday, while Yarmouth will  host them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
