While Indian Hill's victory against Deer Park wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Braves skirted past the Wildcats 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-105) Indian Hill actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-21, 26-28, 25-22, 15-10.

Brooklyn Kinsley paced Indian Hill's offense, picking up ten kills. Kinsley got some help from Sophie Qiao and her 33 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Deer Park lost on Thursday, don't look at Grace Louden. Despite the final result, she had 52 digs. Louden has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Phiona Douglas, who had 16 digs and four aces.

Indian Hill's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Deer Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Indian Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Deer Park, they will venture away from home to take on Wyoming at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
