Baseball Recap: Cumberland Valley's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Cumberland Valley fell victim to Cedar Cliff and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 13-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Cumberland Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Schoenly, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Schoenly has posted since back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cumberland Valley fell to 3-1. Cedar Cliff has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Cumberland Valley will challenge Northern York at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Cliff, they will square off against Central Dauphin at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
