Soccer Recap: Centennial vs. Northland
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westerville South, Centennial was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Northland Vikings a 5-0 shutout. With that victory, the Stars brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.
They hit Northland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Aza Corbett (2),
Sienna Strode (2), and
Geneva Dixon.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Northland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
