Basketball Recap: Mexico Comes Up Short

After flying high against Marshall last Tuesday, Mexico came back down to earth. The Mexico Bulldogs were beaten by the Kankakee Kays 65-35 on Thursday. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mexico's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Kankakee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Mexico will take on Kirksville in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Kirksville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mexico surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kankakee, they will face off against Des Moines North at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
