Baseball Game Preview: Franklin County Eagles vs. Northside Vikings

The Franklin County Eagles will head out to take on the Northside Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Franklin County will be strutting in after a win while Northside will be coming in after a loss.

Franklin County came out on top against Liberty Christian on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Eagles never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northside unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Hidden Valley by a score of 4-3.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Franklin County, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Franklin County might still be hurting after the 14-2 loss they got from Northside in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
